What we do for reefer carriers
- Find produce, protein, dairy and frozen loads that fit your lanes and schedule
- Confirm set temperature, continuous or cycle mode, and pre-cool requirements before booking
- Get pickup and delivery appointments in writing so you are not waiting at the dock
- Negotiate detention up front, because reefer loads often sit
- Handle rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs and factoring paperwork
The details that protect your claim history
Most reefer claims start with a misunderstanding about temperature. We read every rate confirmation for the set point, mode and any special instructions, and we remind you to record the temperature at pickup and keep your reefer download available.
Food loads also fall under the FDA's sanitary transportation rules, so shippers may ask about your washout and trailer condition. We make sure those requirements are clear before you accept the load.
Seasons matter
Reefer freight follows the harvest. Produce season shifts volume and rates across the South, the West Coast and the Midwest through the year. We plan your lanes around where the freight is, not just where you are today.
